The Event Manager is responsible for the conceptualization, development, and execution of events held online, offline, and in hybrid formats, primarily focused on Social Justice and Jewish Culture. This role manages all logistics of event planning from conception through speaker preparation, run-through meetings, and post-event debriefings.
The Event Manager works collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications department, program staff, volunteers, and external vendors to execute comprehensive event promotion and logistics. Attendance at evening (in-person and online), weekend (in-person and online), and select Jewish holiday events (online) is required.
Controller
Controller – New York City, Hybrid position
The Controller plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our nonprofit organization. This position supervises the bookkeeper and oversees all financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities, ensures that the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements.
The Controller will lead the department to foster a culture of accuracy and accountability in financial practices. By analyzing financial data and trends, the Controller will provide strategic insights to support decision-making and drive organizational growth. Ultimately, this role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems and supporting the overall mission of the organization.
