The Workers Circle’s Trip to Yiddishland is our seven day, six night retreat. This trip features five levels of Yiddish classes, dance and klezmer, theater and music workshops, concerts, and children’s program.
All are welcome, from brand-new Yiddishists to fluent speakers.
LED BY: Kolya Borodulin with leading lerers, klezmer and theater artists including Sheva Zucker, Dovid Braun, Mikhl Yashinsky, Motl Didner, Zisl Slepovitch, Miriam Isaacs, Yasha Giner, Aaron Alexander, Christina Crowder, Jake Shulman-Ment, Judy Bressler, Cindy Paley, Steve Weintraub, Zackary and Aaron Mayer, Lisa Mayer and Sruli Dresner (children’s program), and many amazing guests from all over the world!
Come explore our mameloshn at our Circle Lodge on Sylvan Lake in nearby Dutchess County. Enjoy and learn with Yiddish yoga and bingo, nightly evening concerts and cabaret, with pool, lake, boating, tennis, and more.
Rates range from $600–$1,820, depending on room selections. All prices include meals, classes and rooms, except for the commuter option, which just includes meals and classes. If selecting the commuter option, one must enroll in the entire program — NO DAILY REGISTRATIONS.
You can reserve either with a deposit ($600/person) or by paying in full.
VLADECK, LAKEFRONT, LAKE REAR, LAWN ROOMS, AND SEMI-PRIVATE ROOMS ARE CURRENTLY SOLD-OUT. DORMITORIES ARE STILL AVAILABLE. If you are interested, please add your name to this waitlist and we will reach to you if one were to come available.
Young adults ages 18–29 can qualify for a pay-what-you-can spot on the trip. Apply for a young adult spot by 12:00 AM ET on Wednesday, April 9th to be considered.
